Introducing High Yield replacements for HP 12A and Canon 104 toner cartridges

posted Dec 23, 2010, 1:45 PM by Omar Huda

These cartridges typically yield only up to 2,000 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage.  We now have the high yield version of these cartridges which yield up to 4,000 pages at 5% coverage.  That's double the number of prints you would normally get with standard fill cartridge.  These cartridges are also attractively priced.  It's like getting a second cartridge for half the price.  So, if you are a heavy user of these popular cartridge models consider getting a high yield version for your next purchase.  Call our store for pricing and availability.

Cartridges for Samsung CLP 315/310, CLX-3170/3175F now available

The series CLT-C409 cartridges for your Samsung color laser printers CLP 310/315 and multifunction CLX 3170/3175 are now available from Cartridge World Pasadena.  These machines use 1 black and 3 color (cyan, magenta, yellow) cartridges.  The major issue in remanufacturing these cartridges until now has been the lack of a compatible chip.  The chip on the toner cartridge tells the printer how much toner is remaining in the cartridge.  Once the chip reads empty, the printer will not be able to use the cartridge even if new toner is added.

We now have the first generation of a replacement chip available an can remanufacture these cartridges.  Each cartridge is only $39.99+ tax.  Please protect the cartridge by placing it back into the protective soft foam cover as there are currently no replacement parts available for these cartridges.

Samsung has recently released a printer firmware update which renders our replacement chips inoperable.  Please see our note regarding Avoiding Printer Firmware Updates to ensure that our printer cartridges will work in your machine now and in the future.

Refill for HP OfficeJet 6000, 6500 and 7000 series are available.

We have dedicated inks to refill the HP 920 cartridges for these printers.  The standard cartridges must be refilled to standard capacity while the high yield (XL) cartridges will be refilled to the high yield capacity.  We need your empty cartridge to refill these, however, we may have limited supply available in stock do you may not need to wait.  Call our store for details.

The chip on this cartridge cannot be reset at this time, however, we will provide you with instructions on what to do to avoid the pop-up empty ink message from your computer and continue printing without nagging messages.  Remember to have a backup set available as you will not know when these are running out due to the lack of ink level display which occurs when you continue to print with a cartridge which has a spent chip.

Replacement cartridges for Epson Artisan printers now in stock.

We now have replacement cartridges for Epson Artisan 700, 710, 800 and 810 series of printers.  The black cartridge comes in a high capacity of the T0981 series of cartridges and the colors are in standard capacity of T099 series of cartridges.  We do not require empty cartridge exchange to purchase these cartridges.  Therefore we recommend that you leave your empty cartridges in your printer and do not remove them until you have replacements ready in your hand.

Simply stop by our store and pick some up today.  This way you have replacement available when you run out.

Epson has created a very complicated chip recognition system on their new series of cartridges.  Because of this, the replacement (and sometimes even Epson original cartridges) have recognition issues in the printer.  This means that the printer does not recognize a cartridge as being a valid cartridge when it is inserted into the printer.  Because of this, we recommend getting a backup set of cartridges.  If at any time, the cartridge you install into the printer is not recognized, mark it as bad, and put your backup cartridge into the printer.  Bring the bad cartridge to our store for an exchange or refund, anytime.

Replacement for Epson T068 series cartridges in stock now.

We now have high yield cartridges for Epson's Stylus CX, NX and Workforce printers.  Epson released T068 series of cartridges as a high yield replacement for T069.  The T068 cartridges have about 50% more ink than T069 cartridges do.  If your printer uses both cartridges, you get better value for your money buying the high yield version.  At this time, we do not require empty cartridges to be traded in to purchase these products.  Simply stop by our store and pick some up when you need them.

Replacement cartridges for HP OfficeJet Pro 8000/8500 are available

posted Jul 31, 2010, 8:41 AM by Omar Huda

With the release of HP OfficeJet Pro 8000/8500 system, HP continued their tradition of offering one of the best ink values on the market.  The HP 940XL series of cartridges can print  up to a whopping  2200 pages with the black cartridge and 1400 pages with color XL cartridges.  Dollar for dollar, this is the BEST ink cartridge value you can get.  In some cases, it is even less expensive than laser toner cartridges.  This is the reason why we recommend this printer to our customers who want a color laser printer for home use.

While the older HP 88 series of cartridges were dye based, HP has stepped up the ink in the HP 940 cartridges and started to use pigment ink.  Pigment ink lasts longer and prints sharper than dye ink.  They also resist fading.  This is the reason most commercial wide format printers use pigment ink instead of dye.  So all your documents look that much better.

For a while, the ink for these cartridges was not available.  However, we have just found a vendor which produces the specialized ink for this cartridge and have concluded a number of successful tests.  We can now refill the HP 940 series of cartridges and save you even more money!  Your existing color cartridges can be refilled to the XL capacity even if they are NOT XL cartridges currently.  However, for the black, you would need to have your XL black cartridge.  Due to the limited supplies of empties, we can only refill YOUR cartridge at this time.  So, don't throw away your empties we will need them.

One last thing.  The chip on this cartridge which controls the ink indicators is still not available as a replacement.  The chip controls the empty ink level indicator you see on your computer when using the printer.  Because we cannot replace the chip, your printer will say that the cartridge is empty, even though we have refilled it.  We have instructions on how to override this condition and continue printing.  The only thing you will not have is the ink level indicator.  Simply print until the cartridge is no longer printing.  Because you will not know when the ink will run out, we recommend having a replacement set available at all times.

If you are planning to buy some HP 940 cartridges at Staples so that you can have a replacement set available, we recommend spending a little more for the HP 940 XL Black cartridge, however, stick with regular 940 NON XL for the colors.

Replacements for Brother TN-115 high yield cartridges are available!

We can now build replacement cartridges for Brother HL-4040, HL-4070, DCP-9040, DCP-9045, MFC-9440, MFC-9450 and MFC-9840 printers.  For a long time the correct toner for these cartridges was not available.  Products which existed on the market before used sub-par toner and created issues with other components in the printer as well as toner dumping, muted colors and lack of yield.  At Cartridge World Pasadena, we avoided those products so we did not offer the TN-115 high yield color cartridges until now.

Well, wait no more!  One of the most respected leaders in the after-market printer cartridge business has announced availability of the TN-115 toner.  We now have this toner, and can re manufacture these printer cartridges for you.  Please call our store for prices and availability.
